Five years in development, “Uppercut” from RCS is a new way of approaching live event production. At its core, “Uppercut” is a custom software application for controlling video switching, routing and graphics generating – from a simple, touchscreen interface. “Uppercut” is cutting edge production technology, allowing networks to create compelling SD or HD content for television, online or mobile in a small footprint while still achieving high-end, broadcast quality results. To date, “Uppercut” has been used for productions of NBC.com Sunday Night Football, NFL.COM, ESPN360 and DirecTV.
