NFL Network Superticker
On October 22, 2008 NFL Network launched an HD/SD Superticker from their master control facility at Crawford Communications in Atlanta, Georgia. RCS designed, built and integrated this groundbreaking graphic system which is powered by Viz Engine and a custom software application created by RCS. While the system resides at master control, it is controlled remotely from the NFLN Studios in Culver City, California and NFL Films in New Jersey. The HD ticker, which includes a bottom crawl, right side wing and promo box is powered by a single Viz engine and reads from various external databases. The custom ticker application created by RCS is openly programmable to accommodate additional data sources and content for the ticker is authored from multiple off site locations.
