On September 10, 2009 RCS began a 17 game run wih NBC.com handling the on-site production for Sunday Night Football Extra. Utilizing "Uppercut", our portable LIVE production platform, RCS is able to produce four distinct supplemental feeds for NBC's online coverage of SNF. The RCS team built a custom interface which allows our single operator to produce the simultaneous outputs. Reality Check also incorporated several graphic elements from the SNF broadcast giving a high production value to the webcast. All of the video switching and graphics call up is done via "Uppercut" in a single portable 12 RU case.
Sunday Night Football Extra was nominated for the 2009 Sports Emmy for Outstanding New Approaches Sports Event Coverage.
