DirecTV NASCAR Head2Head Knockout

Uppercut Systems by Reality Check built for DirecTV's production of exciting new competition which divides 32 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers into four regional brackets. Drivers go head-to-head against a new competitor each week in a single-elimination format. One production staff member controls video, audio mixing, commercials and graphics content from single user interface, all produced locally from DirecTV's studios in Los Angeles. Network telecast, in-car cameras, team communications and data are fed from site and received at DirecTV's studio for use in multi-video window layouts for creation of the broadcast content. System was upgraded to handle all video and audio processing without the use of the master control switcher, instead everything is handled within the graphics computer with Matrox.
